How to play Casino Hold’em

Playing is easy. There is no complicated maths, no bluffing required, and no need to risk your whole bankroll every hand. As in Texas Hold’em poker, the aim is to make the best five-card hand. Both you and the live dealer get two hole cards, and then five shared cards are dealt.

How to play Casino Hold'em

These are the community cards – both player and the dealer can use any combination of them and their hole cards to make the best five-card hand. The winner is whoever has the highest-ranking one.

Standard poker hand rankings apply. Typically the dealer must have at least a pair of fours to qualify. If they can’t make that, your ante bet is a winner, and your call bet is a push (returned to you).

Casino Hold’em betting and payouts

You have two chances to bet. Firstly, you place an ante bet. Then you get dealt two hole cards, and the first three community cards follow.

You now have the option to fold and end the round. You lose your ante bet if you fold. Or you can call which means you place another bet worth double your ante bet, and the final two cards are dealt.

Winnings call bets pay even money, so you double your stake.

Winning ante bets are settled at odds depending on the strength of your hand. Standard game payouts are as follows: A straight or lower 1/1, flush 2/1, full house 3/1, four-of-a-kind 10/1, straight flush 20/1, and a royal flush 100/1.

Casino Hold’em bonus bets

We all love a bonus bet, right?! Good news – bonus bets paying from 7/1 right up to 100/1 area available.

You have the chance to place a bonus bet before each game round. Bonus bet odds are usually paid as follows: pair of aces, two pair, three of a kind, straight are all 3/1, flush 20/1, full house 30/1, four-of-a-kind 40/1, straight flush 50/1, and royal flush 100/1.

As you can see, there are some attractive bonus bet odds, and overall, Casino Hold’em is an excellent game to play at crypto casinos with the house edge only around 2.16%.

It’s always worth checking the payables when you are seated, as some operators may have slightly different odds.
