Guide to Tron Gambling

What is Tron?
Tron is a blockchain-based decentralized digital platform with its own cryptocurrency, called Tronix or TRX. (We use Tron and TRX interchangeably in this guide).
It was founded in 2017 by a Singaporean non-profit organization, the Tron Foundation, with Justin Sun as the CEO. Sun has previously worked for Ripple and has poached some top staff from that company.
Tron has over 50 million accounts, and unlike other crypto coins like Bitcoin, Litecoin and Ethereum, TRX cannot be mined. In that sense, it’s similar to Tether.
Tron has a particular focus on entertainment and content sharing – it bought file sharing service BitTorrent in 2018. It wants to become one of the most popular blockchains for creating Dapps and intends to disrupt the gaming and content industry by driving content creation through financial rewards and allowing content creators to launch their own tokens.
Creators can use the blockchain to bypass commission charged by streaming services, apps and other entertainment sites.
Tron and fiat currency
When people talk about crypto coins, you will often hear them talk about fiat currencies. These are traditional currencies like the UK sterling and the US dollar. Fiat currencies are government-issued and government-backed, unlike cryptocurrencies which aim to be decentralized.
Tron trades against fiat currencies on leading cryptocurrency exchanges. Tron is worth around half a cent as of January 2022, and there are just over 100 billion TRX tokens in existence.
This gives TRX a total market cap of around $6.5 billion, comfortably putting the coin inside the top 30 cryptos currently traded.
Advantage of Tron Casinos
Decentralization
Cryptocurrencies like Tron are independent of banks, and transactions are usually accepted in unlimited amounts. This is attractive for high-rollers.
Security and privacy
Tron benefits from blockchain technology and increased privacy on your transactions like all cryptos. Banks and other prying eyes have no access to your transactions, and only the casino will know who you are (in most cases. Some crypto casinos are anonymous).
Transaction speeds
Fast transfers are a benefit to both players and crypto casinos. Tron is way ahead of Bitcoin in this respect. And in general, TXR seems solid and reliable – exactly what you want when gambling online.
Tron is manageable
TRX is easy to buy on leading crypto exchanges, either by using traditional payment methods or with other crypto coins you may have.
But more importantly, it’s easy to manage. Unlike Bitcoin (worth around $45,000), Tron is worth around 50 cents and so far easier to keep track of how much you are depositing, how much you are winning, and anything you lose at Tron casinos.
Disadvantages of Tron Casinos
Limited number of Tron casinos
The relative lack of Tron may be one reason why there are very few Tron casinos online. Currently, it’s just not a viable option for many crypto casinos, particularly when Bitcoin and Ethereum are so dominant.

But don’t worry – if you have Tron and you want to gamble with it, head back to the top of the page to find the best Tron casinos. We still have more than five great Tron gambling options for you and will update this page as more casinos start to accept TRX.
There isn’t much Tron publicly available
As it stands, only around 15% of all TRX is in circulation for private investors. The rest is held by the company itself and other selected institutions.
This means there could come a time when deposits or withdrawals in Tron simply aren’t possible anymore. For example, you might have a big win that the casino’s reserve of Tron wouldn’t cover.
